It's as French as the Left Bank. As gracious as an old farmhouse in Provence. It is fragrant with baking breads and simmering soups. And its welcome is as warm as a landscape by Monet. A more authentically French restaurant is not to be found. Chez Gerard is located in the historic Hopwood House, dating from 1790, in the village of Hopwood, Pennsylvania, at the base of the Laurel Highlands.
