This is by far our favorite restaurant in the Harrisburg area. We have always had excellent service and the food is great. The view outside would be improved without the covered pool, and parking lot --it spoils the view. Otherwise it is a 5.

I have been dining here for over 3 years. Sometimes for the lunch buffet, other times I go for a more formal dinner. The staff is always exceptionally polite, and the food excellent. Once, when we were traveling from out of town and had not made reservations, they very kindly managed to fit us in without a fuss. Favorites: Chicken Vindaloo, Naan, Chicken Saag, Samosas, sweet chutney sauce. My brother, who is new to Indian food, can't wait to visit us to return to this excellent establishment.

Chelsea obviously has no sense of "taste"! I took guests from Manhattan and they were very pleased. Everything on the menu is delicious(even the veg. dishes). A great choice for a date or special ocassion - sure to impress.

I ate here when I first moved to Harrisburg. I love Indian food, however, this place was terrible. The samosas where seasoned awfully and the buffet was the worse I have ever eaten. I hated the buffet so much I decided to order my favorite dish, Chana Masala, which I have never left. When offered to take the meal home, I declined, a first for me. I give this place a thumbs down!

The food at Passage to India was superb, and both the menu and buffet had excellent selection for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The interior is spacious and well-decorated, making for a comfortable yet elegant dining experience. Although I found the waitstaff to be somewhat patronizing, service was very good as well. I highly recommend Passage to Indian for anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine or who is simply looking for a quality dining experience!

Being an Indian, I did not find the food so good. Also I found the owners did not extend the same level of service or hospitality to the Indians as compared to the Americans.

The food is good, the service makes me hesitate to go back, but they are the only Indian restaurant close by. Having a reservation doesn't mean they will seat you before someone without one. One waiter provides poorer service to 2 women together than he will for other guests. He once saw that my water glass was empty and then added water to a glass at another table that still had water in it. And getting the check when you are finished is near impossible.

I found the food to be awesome. I wonder if some of the poorer reviews are from people who do not like Indian food? True, the male servers are not the most friendly with women, but who cares?!?! The food is worth it!

I had the buffet which was awful. After that I had another bad experience with take out, but being an Indian food fanatic I went for another shot. The food was just ok and the waiters treatment toward women is less than desirable to sit through. I had to get up and ask for my water after we were passed by so many times.

I go here for the buffet about 3 or 4 times per year. I enjoy this restaurant. The food is plentiful. The prices are reasonable. The place is very clean and is conveniently located near the highway. The waiters could be more attentive.
