Wonderful atmosphere, fine dining, an annual visit for my family at Christmastime.

The Gamble Mill is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been too. The food was terrible and the service was even worse. It took three times to get my order right. When it finally came there was a large black hair in it. I demanded to see the manager and was told that she was too busy to see "a whiney customer".

My wife and I had the most wonderful time at this establishment. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. We live about two hours away from this restaurant, but we will be making the trip back to the area if for no other reason than to dine here again.

One of the better restaurants in central PA. Consistently good food and service. Worth trying.

While visiting some friends in Bellefonte, they introduced us to the Gamble Mill for lunch one day. All five of us got something different and each of us raved about our meals. There wasn't a morsel left on any of the plates. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent. Many thanks to the Groves and the Gamble Mill for such a pleasant experience.

I would not call it the best restaurant, but it is okay. Atmosphere is nice and food nicely prepared. Cozy.

For Central Pennsylvania cuisine, the Gamble Mill is superior to any restaurant in the entire county, including the Nittany Lion Inn. That doesn't mean that it is necessarily five star in a broader picture of fine cuisine, but it definitely is about the best in the general area. We make a point of having dinner at the Mill every time that we visit our sons at Penn State.
