Great food, elegant atmosphere, and a great price!

We visited with a group of 6 on Valentine's night. The service on this night was poor and the menu limited. 2 of the steaks (3 of us ordered the MIXED GRILLE NY STRIP with scallops) were over cooked. The meals were mixed up by the waiter (Damian) and were not offered to be corrected but he relied on us to correct the meals on our own. The twice baked potatoes were burnt as well. One other meal in our party was wrong also. Our meal was a disaster!

I have been to Gabrielle's quite a few times every time was more enjoyable then the last. Everything is great, the food is delicious and the service is the best in town, they have a large assortment of desserts which is my favorite part of the meal. I love this place.

We decided to go to this place based on the reviews. We didn't experience "outstanding food" or "courteous wait staff". Maybe they were off for the night. The food was nothing to write home about and the waitress was rude and never smiled. I wouldn't recommend going again.

Have been having lunches here since 1995, at least once a week and some weeks we have dinner. I have family in N.H. who call Joe for gift certificates for us as they know we love it and family from Ohio, who we have taken and love it and a brother from Elizabethtown that was so impressed that he and his wife had their son's college graduation party here for family and close friends who traveled to be here. It has to be 5 stars.

Gabrielle's is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is very elegant and the food was delicious. I was there for a birthday party sometime last week with about 12 of my friends and the two waitresses were wonderful. They stayed on top of the orders and made sure we were comfortable. They were also very considerate in our food preferences and polite and enjoyable to talk to.

I recently, had a party at Gabrielle's Restaurant. The food was ok, probably the best part of the party. The service was horrible, every time my husband or I wanted a drink we had to go up to the bar. At the bar we were greeted by a very rude man. To sum it all up this place is a disaster, my money will never be spent there again and this isn't a place I would recommend to my friends.

The seafood in the Vodka Seafood Fettucini could have been fresher. The Veal Oscar was very good, the veal was very tender and could have been cut with a fork. Our server was a very nice young lady and only stopped by a few times which was perfect, she did not interfere with our dinner conversation.

AVOID this restaurant!!! I recently had my son's rehearsal dinner here. What a disaster - the service was terrible, the owner was disinterested and the food - if you got it - was good to ok.

My wife and I have been steady customers for many years, and just love the food. Joe and his wife have always welcomed us and we feel it is such a pleasure where you are served great food and never rushed to leave. Just a wonderful place to come and enjoy an excellent dinner.

It was so-so. What I expected for the area.....would return....like I said it was what I expected...though the reviews that say it is great have never been to one of the places in Chambersburgh, NJ....
