Mad Mex is by far the best!!!!

Unusual, un-Mexican (but quite tasty and filling) "fusion" cuisine (Mexican packaging with a unique blend of new and old world ingredients). Don't go for Mex but go for good food. But skip the pricey, tasteless Marguerita's; a REAL disappointment for a Marguerita lover.

Although Pittsburgh lacks a good selection of Mexican restaurants, Mad Mex still would not rate higher than two stars on my list. Each dish I've tried at this restaurant (as well as my girlfriend's) has either been bland or lacking. By lacking, I mean that they provide a lot more pita on the dish than they do filling when it comes to chimmichangas or the like. The food is in no way authentic.

Great selection and great food. One of my favorite places to eat in Pittsburgh. Priced right.

Max Mex's burritos and soups are fantastic!!! If you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, this is not the place. But if you like to try different, tasty combinations of flavors (like chick-pea chili or cheesy tortilla soup), you got to check it out! And it is reasonably priced to boot.

Please do not vote for the same restaurant more than once. The scale is

every restaurant receives a 1 or a 5, the ratings aren't very useful. We
