This is an excellent place for an intimate date. The atmosphere and the food are great. The place itself is rather small, with about 10 tables for dining, but there's never a wait. Prices are average for a nice sit down restaurant. Also, there is a buy one - get one free coupon in the Entertainment book!!

What a find! I'm glad we ventured a block off Carson Street to discover 17th Street Cafe. My date and I were both very happy with our meals. Possibly the best soup (red pepper bisque) I've had in Pittsburgh. The wait staff were very friendly without being overbearing. Highly recommended.

The food was some of the worst I've ever had. Go to a good bit of shows in the south side and have tried most of the restaurants there and was very disappointed with this one.

What a great little hole in the wall! This is a great place. I had the Flounder and my wife had the Chicken Asparagus. We also had the salmon salad with cashews. Man, what a treat! The service was also great! We will go back!
